Senior Psychology Capstone
This capstone course is designed for senior psychology majors preparing to complete their degree. It offers a structured opportunity to revisit key theories, assess contemporary critiques of the field, and reflect on the cumulative impact of undergraduate study. Course materials include selected readings in theory, ethics, identity, and applied psychology.
Students will participate in guided discussion, short-form writing, and individual research. The final assignment is an in-class presentation analyzing a theory or theorist of personal significance.
By the end of the term, students should be able to articulate the central ideas that have influenced their development in the discipline and demonstrate the ability to engage those ideas in writing and speech with clarity and precision.
