
This course is an exploration of major theories and research in the field of personality psychology, integrating both historical and contemporary perspectives. We will examine various approaches, including psychoanalytic, trait, biological, humanistic, behavioral, cognitive, and social-cognitive theories. This course emphasizes the integration of faith and psychological principles, encouraging students to consider how Christian perspectives can inform and enhance the understanding of personality development.
Through primary texts, empirical research, and rich discussions, we will explore how faith intersects with theoretical concepts, influencing personality development, individual differences, and behavior. Case studies and practical applications will provide opportunities to reflect on and apply these integrated insights.
