111925 - Audio Production (2024/SP:DIGM/CINE-281-01)

A cross-listed course which is designed to introduce Comm Arts students to the major facets of audio production.  The course is a hands-on course that will look at the theory of sound waves to recording and editing .  A large portion of the course will be devoted to proper microphone choice and usage, proper recording device choice and  operation, audio editing and elements of sound design.  

Each class session will contain both lecture and "hands-on" components.  Each class session will commence at 6pm and end at 8:30 - 8:45pm with a 15 minute break included.
