In this course, we will discuss ways that our faith can become the “light by which we see” as we consider engagement with our academic disciplines, our culture, and our daily lives. We will ask what it means to have a “Christian mind” when thinking about culture and academics, along with focusing on the ways in which what we see, read, and hear contributes to our own spiritual formation. In doing this, we will practice Christian discernment and critical thinking, working towards developing a robust theology of culture.
