127032 - Intrcult.Stud Intrnsh-Cambodia (2025/SS:ICSP-390-SA218)

The overseas internship is a 10-week cross-cultural experience designed to immerse students in hands-on ministry and service in an international context. Each internship site provides opportunities for students to participate in a variety of ministry roles, which may include youth and children's ministry, community outreach, teaching English, refugee care, discipleship, evangelism, and humanitarian work.

This experience is not simply about "doing" ministry but about learning to be present, to listen, and to serve with cultural humility. Students live and work in partnership with long-term ministry teams or national leaders, learning how to navigate cultural differences, language barriers, and the complexity of global missions with grace and adaptability.

The internship serves as a critical context for vocational discernment, helping students explore their calling, understand their spiritual gifts and limitations, and evaluate their suitability for long-term service. Through reflection, mentorship, and lived experience, students come face-to-face with the beauty and brokenness of the world—and their own hearts—and are invited to listen to how God may be speaking into their future.
