This course examines legal issues relevant to American colleges and universities to provide students with the fundamental knowledge of higher education law for practitioners. Topics include the legal governance of higher education, first amendment, freedom of speech, student privacy, disability law, student accommodations, Title IX, Clery Act, and other legal issues pertinent to the faculty and students.
